Owner AdvantageTM Rewards Member Terms and Conditions
The Owner Advantage Rewards Program (the “Program”) is brought to you by the Ford or Ford/Lincoln dealership at which you enrolled in the Program (“your dealership”). The Program, including, but not limited to, rewards generated and/or redeemed, is only applicable to the dealership at which you have enrolled. Each dealership is independently owned and operated. Your Membership is nontransferable and is valid only at the dealership that enrolled you. You may have separate Memberships at more than one Ford and/or Ford/Lincoln dealership. Membership and benefits shall be considered void where prohibited by law. Taxes apply where required by law. Your dealership and Ford each assume no liability for any member’s participation that contravenes the laws or regulations of his or her province or of Canada. Your Membership is subject to present and future Program rules which are subject to termination or change at any time by your dealership or Ford.
Membership in the Program at your dealership (“Membership”) is open to Canadian residents who are 18 years of age or older. There is no fee to enroll and you may cancel your Membership at any time. Name, physical address and email address are required for enrollment in the Program. Your dealership may enroll you in the Program during your dealer visit and provide the Member Terms and Conditions. Upon enrollment completion you will receive a welcome email. By enrolling and participating in the Program, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older and have read and agree to the Member Terms and Conditions.
All individuals within a household, defined as follows, may share one Membership. “Household” is defined as individuals who are spouses, domestic partners, siblings, parents, or children of the household’s primary member and who live at the primary member’s address. “Primary Member” is defined as the individual in the household who enrolls the household or, in some cases, the member who has been pre-assigned as the primary member (name on the account) by your dealership. All individuals within the household accrue and redeem in the same Membership account (“Account”). Each individual may belong to only one Household. Membership and Program benefits are not transferable to individuals outside the Household.
Membership is not available to corporations, organizations, fleet, or legal entities. Your dealership may, at its sole discretion, determine which individuals, vehicles, or addresses constitute a household and/or combine or separate accounts or separate individuals into multiple accounts at any time. Your dealership is not responsible or liable for any disputes regarding the eligibility of a person to redeem Program rewards from an account.
As a member of the Program, you may earn Service Rewards, Sales Rewards or Other Rewards (collectively, Program rewards or Rewards).
Service Rewards consist of: a one-time $10 enrollment bonus; a 5% reward amount on the amount you pay for qualifying parts and services purchased at your dealership, rounded down to the nearest penny; and a complimentary oil change once you have purchased four oil changes.
Sales Rewards consist of: a complimentary oil change with the purchase of a new, used or Certified Pre-Owned Ford or Lincoln vehicle and a $100 purchase reward which may be applied toward a future purchase of new Ford or Lincoln vehicle. The $100 purchase reward cannot be earned on purchases of vehicles through a Ford employee, Partner Recognition, or dealership employee plan (A- Plan, X- Plan and Z- Plan).
From time to time, you may also be eligible to earn or receive special member incentives, bonuses or rewards (“Other Rewards”) from Ford or your dealership. Certain restrictions may apply. See your dealership for complete details.
The person who pays for a purchase designates the Membership account into which Program rewards will be credited. No adjustments that would increase your Membership account balance will be made after payment is made in full, the service or vehicle sale is complete, or the vehicle or part is delivered, whichever occurs first.
Reward calculations are based upon dollars paid on eligible purchases. Eligible purchases do not include Program rewards, any other deductions to the amount directly paid by you, applicable taxes and/or fees (environmental, etc.), warranty repairs, body shop repairs, fleet or wholesale purchases, or other charges as determined by your dealership.
Rewards may only be earned at your dealership. When parts, vehicles, or other purchases are returned or an adjustment is made to a prior transaction that accrues Program rewards, the associated Program rewards will be deducted from your account. If the purchase of a vehicle is cancelled, no Program rewards for that purchase will be credited to the member. Households are entitled to no more than one enrollment bonus per dealership. Program rewards have no cash value and are nontransferable. Your Program rewards will appear on your Program quarterly eStatements which will be sent to you by email. See your dealership for complete Program details. Ford does not have any liability or obligation with regard to Program rewards issued by your dealership.
You are eligible to redeem Service Rewards on eligible service transactions and parts purchases at your dealership. A service or parts purchase may be required in order to redeem Program rewards. Service Rewards may be used in conjunction with most other offers toward the purchase of products or services, not to exceed the purchase amount. Within one calendar year, a member may redeem a maximum of $500 in Service Rewards.
You will be eligible to redeem four oil change credits for a complimentary oil change. A complimentary oil change must be of equal or lesser value than the lowest price paid for the four paid oil changes purchased to earn the Reward. Within one calendar year, a member may redeem a maximum of five complimentary oil changes. Rewards may only be redeemed at your dealership.
You may also be eligible to redeem Program rewards on eligible purchases of new Ford or Lincoln vehicles. The maximum amount of such Rewards that may be redeemed is $500 per vehicle. Rewards may be used in conjunction with most other offers toward the purchase of the vehicle and cannot be redeemed on purchases of vehicles through a Ford employee, Partner Recognition, or dealership employee plan (A- Plan, X- Plan and Z- Plan).
From time to time, you may be eligible to redeem Other Rewards. All restrictions applicable to redeeming Service Rewards, Sales Rewards or Program Rewards will apply. Certain additional restrictions may also apply. See your dealership for complete details.
Each transaction may include Program rewards redemptions from only one account. Program rewards cannot be earned or redeemed for certain products and services or prior purchases. Additional dealership restrictions may apply. See your dealership regarding restriction details. If any taxes or other charges are owed associated with redemption, including, but not limited to a complimentary oil change, you are responsible for paying those taxes or other charges. Program rewards may be redeemed only when you provide appropriate identification to your dealership. See your dealership for details regarding redeeming Rewards and Rewards expiration.
You agree that Rewards expire and are forfeited when you, or any member of your household, have not earned or redeemed Rewards for 549 consecutive calendar days, approximately 18 months (your General Balance Expiration Date).You further understand and agree that Other Rewards may expire prior to, on or after your General Balance Expiration Date, and expire as specified in such Other Rewards. Other Rewards are immediately forfeited on the specified expiry date. Contact your dealership for the expiration dates for Other Rewards.
Privacy Notice and Member Communications
Program communications, including email, from your dealership may include welcome email, post-transaction emails, quarterly eStatements, special offers, and other emails relating to the Program. You agree to your dealership providing, on your behalf, your contact information, Program participation, and Program transaction information, such as Rewards earned and redeemed, to Ford and its service providers to enable the administration of this Program on behalf of your dealership, including sending communications on behalf of your dealership and measuring the Programs’ performance.
You may wish not to receive communications from the Program. If you do not want to receive communications from the Program, select the opt-out link located on the bottom of all Program emails. Please note that you will not receive post transaction, eStatement or notice of dealer cancellation emails. Your unsubscribe request will be processed within 10 business days of notification. If you do not want to receive marketing communications from your dealership, which do not relate to the Program, please contact your dealership by using the email or other contact information on the unsubscribe page.
By participating in the Program you expressly agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as set out in these Member Terms and Conditions. You understand and consent to the collection, use, processing, storage, transfer, and disclosure of your personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information across country borders and to and in the United States which may have different levels of privacy protection than in Canada. If you don't consent or do not wish to disclose this information, do not participate in this Program.
By participating in the Program, you expressly agree and consent, as permitted by applicable law, to the disclosure or transfer of your personal information to a third party during the course of, or completion of, a change in ownership of or the grant of a security interest in, all or a part of your dealership through, for example, an asset or share sale, or some other form of business combination, merger or joint venture, provided that such party is bound by appropriate agreements or obligations and required to use or disclose your personal information in a manner consistent with the use and disclosure provisions of these Terms and Conditions, unless you consent otherwise. You also expressly agree and consent, as permitted by applicable law, to the disclosure or transfer of your personal information to a third party dealership for that dealership to apply your Program rewards in the event that your dealership is no longer operating and such third party dealership agrees, provided that such dealer is bound by appropriate agreements or obligations and required to use or disclose your personal information in a manner consistent with the use and disclosure provisions of these Terms and Conditions, unless you consent otherwise.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information provided and any representations made including regarding your email address and account and the reliance of any party upon such information or representations. Failure to provide an accurate email address will result in failure to receive Program communications, including any dealership cancellation and/or program termination notification.
You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying your dealership. All membership benefits, including accrued Rewards and other Program rewards will immediately be forfeited upon membership cancellation.
Participation in the Program is a privilege granted to members, and as such can be suspended, revoked, or terminated at any time by your dealership or by Ford for any reason. You understand and agree that in the event of termination of membership, your membership benefits, including all Program rewards and benefits will immediately be forfeited.
Program Changes and Program Termination
These member terms and conditions are effective September 1, 2014. Your dealership and Ford reserve the right to change or terminate the Program, or parts thereof, at any time without notice, subject to all relevant and current applicable laws and without further obligations to Program members, including, but not limited to, modifications which: a.) govern Program rewards earned on and after the date of the change; or, b.) change the value of already accumulated Program rewards. Any and all changes and/or amendments to these member terms and conditions will become binding upon all Program members immediately. The Program is considered to be terminated as of the date that notice is posted online at owneradvantagerewards.ford.ca (the “Termination Date”). No Program rewards will be earned or redeemed after the Termination Date.
In cases of dealership cancellation: at least 180 days prior to your dealership’s cancellation, the Program, on behalf of the dealership, will advise you of your dealership’s pending cancellation via a “cancellation email” unless you have opted out of receiving email communications. You will have 180 days to redeem your Rewards at your cancelling dealership.

You may determine when these member terms and conditions were last updated by referring to the modification date at the bottom of the policy. Member terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the province of your dealership and federal laws applicable therein and the parties attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of such province.
All terms and conditions are applicable, including, but not limited to, Earning Rewards, Redeeming Rewards, Reward Expiration and Program Changes and Program Termination, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable laws.
The Ford name, and all trademarks and logos displayed are owned or used under license in Canada by your dealership. Trademarks include, but are not limited to Owner Advantage Rewards. Unauthorized use of any trademark displayed is strictly prohibited. (V2.0, as of September 1, 2014)
